Wearing whites in the season of heat is anything but radical, yet remains a part of a classic staple look. If you ask me after the color black, white is my next comfort color. It's chic, clean, elegant, simple and sophisticated. So whether you're headed out to brunch, the office or a concert, the color can be rocked effortlessly.
For the first look, I teamed a white shirt with ruffled sleeves, with blue denim shorts and thigh-high tie-up lace boots. This chic look is perfect for brunch with your girls. I must say the boots were a little uncomfortable and it took me some time ( *coughs* 20 minutes) to put them on, but I loved how the whole outfit looked in its totality. However, in a heartbeat, I would trade those boots with white loafers/sneakers.

For look 2, I went for an all-white outfit. I'm such a fan of wearing one color ever since I read on one of the fashion magazines that it makes you look taller, and well I think everyone knows how 'TALL' I am. I love these white joggers. I teamed it earlier with a formal shirt and gave a presentation at a conference. On a different note, I feel Schiffy tops and dresses are so underrated. Like whats there to not love about them, especially in the heat, it's just so perfect. Team a schiffy top with white jeans or white joggers for evening drinks with your girls.

However, an all-white outfit scares the living daylights out of me due to its susceptibility to stains. So I did a little experiment and wore an all-white outfit for a day and gathered some tips on how to not make a mess of it.
Tip #1: It's only logical to wear a white outfit if you are going out for a short period of time. Like say just lunch, or a short visit to your friends place or for a coffee date.
Tip #2: If you are going out for dinner or lunch, stick to transparent drinks. We all know our nightmares of red wine spillage. Like been there, done that!! Talking about food, try avoiding food that can get your hands dirty or for that matter has any type of colorful sauces. And if just in case, your date decides to take you to a restaurant like that, just get an extra table napkin and use it as a bib if required, cause come on guys.. its called PREVENTION.
Tip #3: If you are going out for a festival, you can choose to wear a colorful jacket over the white outfit ( look 3) or make sure your surroundings are really clean.
